Which line from the poem above illustrates alliteration? A.“Long have I known a glory in it all” B.“Thou’st made the world too beautiful this year” C.“To lift the lean of that black bluff!” D.“My soul is all but out of me” Closest thing I can think of is C.

OpenStudy (conqueror):

Do you know what alliteration means?

OpenStudy (ravengirl):

i think it's C, it's the closest thing to alliteration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The repetition of a letter or sound at the beginning of words in sentence usually.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's C because of saying black bluffs but it's only two words.Would it be C?

OpenStudy (ravengirl):

Tatsurion you're right for the meaning of alliteration so i'm thinking it's C also

OpenStudy (conqueror):

@ravengirl The code of conduct says: "Don't provide someone with just the answer - explain the process, and help guide them through understanding the problem."

OpenStudy (ravengirl):

sorry about that Conqueror :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Technically that isn't giving the direct answer but I'm just not gonna argue about that.

OpenStudy (conqueror):

Yeah, the person answering should guide the asker into understanding so that the asker answers it. Does that make sense?
