what does y=2/5x look like on a graph?

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

It will be a straight line with a positive slope, since 2/5 isn't negative. Also, there is no y-intercept given, so that means the line passes through the origin (0,0) The rise is 2 and the run is 5

Points C and D lie on graph of the equation y = 1.3x. What are the y-coordinates for each point? Point C: (3, ) Point D: (−6, ) @kobeni-chan

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

Since there is also no given y-intercept, this is also at the origin. You can do a table chart to figure this one out. So when x=1, y will equal 1.3, because that's the slope. x=2, y=2.6 x=3, y=3.9 and etc. Do the same for y when x is a negative, just subtract 1.3 every time x goes down 1

OpenStudy (triciaal):

@kobeni-chan this is correct to get the graph but the question only ask to find y when x= 3 for point C and when x = -6 for point D
