multipyling polynomials is what im learning about. this is my question (a + 3)(a - 2) and underneath it it says a- and i can put numbers and exponents on either side. Thanks for all that really help. :)

1) Get rid of the screen name. If you can't possibly succeed, why are you trying? Change it to "Trying - I know I can get it!" or "I think I can, I think I can..." 2) There is not really much clue what it is you are trying to do. We really cannot help you with your mouse exercises.

is that better? I posted it just like my question had asked before and I've seen other people post their questions the same way and people were able to answer it.

First I agree you should not be so negative. Have more confidence in yourself and have a positive outlook. In addition to that, that's why you have people willing to help. to multiply polynomials using the distributive property, multiply each term inside the parenthesis by the term outside you have (a + 3)(a - 2) it means a(a -2) +3(a - 2) a*a + a*(-2) + 3*a + 3*(-2) simplify a^2 -2 a + 3 a -6 group like terms a^2 -a - 6 "and underneath it it says a- and i can put numbers and exponents on either side." I don't know what this means. do you have any questions about this?
