Why would you sit and wait for 28 minutes when your instructions clearly state that you show your work? Show some. Have you considered subtraction? 8.05E8 - 9.16E6 = 8.05E8 - 0.916E7 = 8.05E8 - 0.0916E8 There, now the exponents are the same. Subtract! Don't forget to think about significant figures.
