OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

All vertebrates have bilateral symmetry. vertebrates include mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians. Arthropods also have bilateral symmetry. This includes creatures such as insects, arachnids and crustaceans. Bilateral symmetry means something has symmetry across one plane (known as the sagittal plane, and directly down the centre of their body), which means one side of their body approximately mirrors the other side. http://www.answers.com/Q/What_is_an_example_of_an_animal_with_bilateral_symmetry With this information, which one do you think it is now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know the sea horse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because bilateral symmetry means a distinctive head and something else.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or the jellyfish

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

Sea horses do have bilateral Symmetry. Do you know what part of the Jelly fish has the head? Can you tell it obviously? What about the starfish?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no.no.no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and thanks for the website info

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, jellyfish exhibits radial symmetry. bilateral is, for example, the planaria worm.

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

No problem, but when you look at the sea horse, you can see where the head is easily. When you look at the starfish or jellyfish, it requires a bit of know-how. So your answer would be the Sea Horse. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):
