Just need the answer plz!! How many solutions does the equation have? a+5=1/5(15+5a) A. one solution B. infinite solutions C. no solution

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Infinite solutions because it doesn't tell you what the variable A stands for. It cold be any number. It doesn't give us an answer to use to figure out a if you understand that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thx(:

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Like if they gave us a number like 65, you could calculate for a to see if the equations are equal.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

glad to help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can u help me on some more plz?

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay all question different equation but I'm just gonna type the equation is that ok?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all same question*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@k_lynn ?

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Still here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x+1=5+2(2x-4)

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Does it give you any numbers so see what x equals? or is it just like the last one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just like the last one

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

ok, then if it does not give you any numbers like if you had that equation, and by the right it had x=34 or something, you would be finding out if the two equations were equal. But if they don't have numbers, I'm pretty sure they have an indefinite amount of solutions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thx

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

yep

Which expressions would complete this equation so that the equation has no solution? 6(4x-3)-10x choose exactly 2 answers that are correct. A. 14x-15 B. 2(7x-10) C. 15x-14 D. 2(7x-9)

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

I'm not sure on this one... I know some people who can help you though @PaulaLovesSchool13 @StudiousA @Supernova_Sonntag

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

@*louisa* @k_lynn

OpenStudy (eric_d):

Look at the below steps closely !

OpenStudy (eric_d):

1) First of all, you'll need to expand the above expression |dw:1411715721018:dw|
