What is feudalism? A manor system whereby peasants worked the land on an estate and a manorial lord protected several them. A manor system whereby peasants are more or less slaves to the lord who doesn’t pay them for their efforts. A landowning system whereby peasants can work payments for the land they want to own. A manor system whereby the lord owns the products that comes from the land, but not the land itself.
