Undead Egg Comments

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

I was looking at the undead egg:

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

What I noticed is that the red logo is, well, just sort of stamped there. It is not a part of the egg. So I went a playing.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

@undeadknight26 @factor @surd

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Thank @e.mccormick ! This is great work! We might need help making an Undead Army flag also :) i dont thing the egg will last very long :) If its not too much do you think you can help?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Well, factor is looking into learning some image editing. Embossing and engraving techniques are one way of doing things. Making an object and mapping it to a shape is another.

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

Sounds great! Keep up the good work @factor !

OpenStudy (factor):

thanks a lot @e.mccormick

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

And you can play with XCF in gimp.

OpenStudy (factor):

OpenStudy (factor):

thnx for the mod support ur giving us we thought no one would support us other than miss preetha

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

There are lots of tutorials on it: https://www.google.com/search?q=learn+gimp Perosnally, I just find something when I want to do it. Like how I did this:

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

That is one of many frames I made for a video. I did frame by frame animaion using images.

OpenStudy (factor):

which software did u use for the naimation

OpenStudy (factor):

*animation

OpenStudy (factor):

umm u dere

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Gimp, Wax, and ... Here, this is easer.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

No. I use Classic Shell. I find the new shell usless and impossible to organize. http://youtu.be/3pi4l48tKBU

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

No. Classic Shell is why my system looks like XP.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

I used Gimp and... one of those other to do that glow effect animation. I made 18 key frames of the glow at different levels. Then I duplicated those in a cycle to create the glow. That is 919 images. At the frame rate I used, hat made 36 seconds of video.

OpenStudy (factor):

thnx anyway

thnxx sir @e.mccormick
