linear because the x and y are in first degree ( not x^2 , or y^3 etc)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

look at the way y is increasing as x goes up in steps of 2 - if it was a linear relationship y would also go up in proportional steps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm going with it's not linear because the ratio of the change in the x's to the change in the y's is not constant. So I'm correct right?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

exactly

Thanks for the quick responses

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

you explained it better than me
