Find the length of the complete circle r=a*sin(theta), where a>0. The answer in the back of the book says pi*a. However, I got 2pi*a and can't figure out why.

OpenStudy (freckles):

how did you setup the integral?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From 0 to 2pi. I know it should be 0 to pi, but I only know this from looking at the answer in the back of the book. I know a the circumference of a circle is 2pi which is why I used that.

OpenStudy (freckles):

|dw:1411693132952:dw| it should be 0 to pi it seems because that is when it makes that full rotation there
