OpenStudy (3psilon):

How would you graph a function with constant C

OpenStudy (3psilon):

Like \[y = x^2 +c\]

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

You wouldnt? I would assume you need to find out what C is Here, the 'c' would be the vertical shift of the parabola so without it...we wouldn't know where to place it

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

correct! you can't unless you know what C is

geerky42 (geerky42):

What about graphing function with constant at like -5, 0, and 5, basically to demonstrate how constant can affects the function?

geerky42 (geerky42):

While graphing functions, label the value of c for each function. For example: |dw:1411786212542:dw|
