why aren't there any cures for genetic disorders
I don't believe in any such word as disorder I believe people are unique in their own ways
I don't think this answers the question but this is my opinion
Because genetic disorders are passed through DNA so they are basically encoded into you
To cure a genetic disease you'll have to change the DNA of your each and every cell. Think bout it..u have billions of cells
There are disorders, and diseases. Everyone is special. That is another way of saying no one is. Therefore, without their disorder, they would not be different. They are proud of it just like the deaf like to be called deaf.
Basher, I am very sorry to say this but that is not relevant as an answer because its not if they are proud of it its why they have it. nice try though
This wasn't an answer silly, I was responding to UltimteWitherLord
Because in order to find the disease in time you needed to do DNA sequencing, which was done with the "whole genome project", but i took 20 years, of course now with technology DNA sequencing doesn't take as long, however once the disease has been found it is most likely too late because those genes have already encoded for a protein that your cells are making that causes the disease!! so in other words it is not impossible, just rather very slim chances of survival rate, hope this makes some sense (also it doesn't specifically have to be proteins encoding for a disease it can be a simple ATCG mutation or a blockage with an inhibitor, whatever the action might it will apply to the same explanation most of the time)
