Sum Rule: \(\dfrac{d}{dx}[f(x)+g(x)] = f'(x)+g'(x)\) So you have \(\dfrac{d}{dx}(e^x+2) = \dfrac{d}{dx}e^x + \dfrac{d}{dx}2\)
