this is about the 5th time doing this problem.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

ratio and conversion of units

OpenStudy (triciaal):

1 tree = 2.6 × 10^2 lbs you have 3.9 × 10^11 times 1 tree so 2.6* 10^2 * 2.9 * 10^11 lbs of oxygen for the year 365 days in one year to get amount for 1 day divide by 365 keep the balance what you do to one side of an equation do to the other write your answer in scientific notation form a * 10^n where a is between 0 and 10 and n is an integer

OpenStudy (triciaal):

you can shift the number 6 to get the symbol for exponent

OpenStudy (triciaal):

note that you could find for one day first then multiply by the number of trees. you will get the same result.
