Please help. Medal will be awarded!! In fruit flies, the gene for red eyes (R) is dominant and the gene for sepia eyes (r) is recessive. If a red-eyed heterozygous fly (Rr) mates with a sepia-eyed homozygous fly (rr), what are the possible genotypes of their offspring? (Hint: You many want to complete a Punnett square.) a: Rr only b: RR, Rr, and rr c: Rr and rr D: RR and rr

Have you worked it out already?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did. but I don't think it's right. I ended up getting C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's correct! I got that too. Whenever I worked it out, I got Rr and rr so, those are the possible genotypes.

Omigosh! Thanks!
