An aqueous solution of hydrosulfuric acid, H2S(aq), reacts with an aqueous solution of NaOH. 1) Write the complete ionic equation for the acid-base neutralization that occurs. [Hint: S2−(aq) ion is present in the neutralized solution.] Express your answer as a ionic equation. Identify all of the phases in your answer. 2)What salt would remain behind if you evaporated the water from the neutralized solution? Express your answer as a chemical formula.
