(02.05) Solve for x: x - 2 > 2x + 12. x > 14 x < 14 x > -14 x < -14 I'm almost positive it's c but like i said almost, can anybody help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get terms with x at one side and the numbers at the other first by adding / substracting to both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

substract 2x to both sides gives ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know man

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-x -2 > 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now add 2 two both sides to get rid of the minus 2 at the left hand side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that would be -x > 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

indeed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually x>14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which boils down to x < -14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you ever dealt with flvs you"ll no where its coming from

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i hope your right thanks
