All atoms of an element that has the same number of neutrons
All atoms of an element have the same number of protons, which is also the atomic number found on the periodic table. Atoms of one element can have several different numbers of protons or electrons. An atom with a different number of electrons than usual is an 'Ion', and it has a negative or positive charge due to the uneven number of electrons and protons. An atom with a different number of neutrons than usual is called an 'Isotope', and has a different mass than the regular atom. Changing the number of neutrons or electrons does not change the fact that an atom is a certain element. However, changing the number of protons will change what element the atom is. I'm not sure if this answers your question, but I hope so.
