OpenStudy (zaxoanl):

During photosynthesis, plants use energy from sunlight to form glucose (C6H12O6(s)) and oxygen from carbon dioxide and water.

OpenStudy (zaxoanl):

6CO2(g) + 6H2O(l) -> C6H12O6(aq) + 6O2(g) + 6H2O(l) not sure where i did wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have water on both sides of your equation. I think the correct equation would be as follows: 6CO2 + 6H2O --> C6H12O6 + 6O2

OpenStudy (zaxoanl):

thank you for your reply but i inserted the equation it still says Check that you have properly identified all of the phases in your answer.

OpenStudy (zaxoanl):

6CO2(g) + 6H2O(l) -> C6H12O6 + 6O2(g)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it's asking for you to identify which phase each of the reactants and products is in? Do you need to state that glucose is in a solid state? C6H12O6(s)
