OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

First you should learn about inequalities.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the tomorrow is the deadline to turn this in so, could you or somebody please explain how to work these problems out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OMG I just finished learning about these. I'll help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For question 4. The equation would be x <1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have to show work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For both?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Show or explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both if possible

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would 4 be < 1? why not -1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I made a typo. I meant x < -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4. The equation for the graph would be x < -1. X because it is a vertical line, and vertical lines are on the x-axis. It is < because everything is shaded before the line. Also, the line is dotted, so -1 is not included, which is why x < -1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

before could be to left of or behind the line. Whichever.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay got that one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, you need an explanation for the second one as well?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says to graph it. Is there a worksheet with it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know which line is which?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no theres no graph with it. i think ill just leave that one blank, thanks so much for the help!
