A newspaper started an online version of its paper 14 years ago. In a recent presentation to stockholders, the lead marketing executive states that the revenues for online ads have more than doubled that of the revenues for printed ads since starting the online version of the paper. Use the graph below to justify the lead executive’s statement and to determine the approximate year that the two ad revenues were equal.

A newspaper started an online version of its paper 14 years ago. the lead marketing executive states that the revenues for online ads have more than doubled that of the revenues for printed ads since starting the online version of the paper. can you estimate the revenues for year 14? that way we can compare them Use the graph below to justify the lead executive’s statement and to determine the approximate year that the two ad revenues were equal.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

refresh to get rid of those odd marks .... if you see them that is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would it be four?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since that is the closest number to the year 14? Or would it be 3?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

|dw:1414278777605:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i approx them at about 1.5 and 4.25 if 2(1.5) < 4.25 then then statement is accurate enough

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright! Thank you

OpenStudy (amistre64):

then just estimate what year they cross at |dw:1414278935227:dw|
