Fan and Medal Which statement correctly describes the relationship between current, voltage, and resistance? If we decrease the resistance, and do not change the voltage, the current will decrease. decrease the voltage, and do not change the resistance, the current will also decrease. increase the resistance, and do not change the current, the voltage will remain the same. increase the current, and increase the resistance, the voltage will decrease.

OpenStudy (gorv):

V=I*R

OpenStudy (gorv):

voltage=current*resistance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get it @gorv

OpenStudy (gorv):

option D voltage=current*resistance when u will increase the current and resistance both ...thn their product will be more or less ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um.... increase?

OpenStudy (gorv):

yeah so voltage will ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

decrease

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so D?

OpenStudy (gorv):

voltage = current* resistance when right side is increasing thn left will also increase ..otherwise they will no be equal

OpenStudy (gorv):

so D is wrong

OpenStudy (gorv):

now what C says ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you saying C is it? i would not think so because you did not metion resistance and plus nothing about decrecing in it. oh wait I do think C now

OpenStudy (gorv):

both side should be equal if left increase thn right should also increase and if left decrease than right will also decrease

OpenStudy (gorv):

i asked u that what option C is saying ?? what u got from that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the formula right?

OpenStudy (gorv):

yeah formula is right

OpenStudy (gorv):

what option C want to say

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you :)

OpenStudy (gorv):

current same resistance increase so right side will inc ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, i think
