Ethylenediamine (C2H8N2) is a liquid reagent and the pure form of this reagent has a density of 0.899 g/mL. How many milliliters of pure ethylendiamine are in 100 mL of 0.150 M ethylenediamine?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think the answer is .998 mL. I may be wrong. Convert 100 mL to L. Multiplying liters by the molarity would give you mols. Multiplying the mols by molecular weight would give you the mass of Ethylenediamine. Then dividing the density by the current grams gives you the mL.

Hi, I get 1.0027mL if I do it that way? Also, I forgot to include (Hint: what is the molarity of pure ethylenediamine?)
