You get a medal for even attempting. When the gas shown in the Energy Distribution diagram is heated to "T2," what has happened? Select all that apply. The average kinetic energy has lowered.The average kinetic energy has increased.The highest energy level has decreased.Less molecules have a higher energy level.More molecules have a higher energy level.

@iGreen Any help?

All 5.?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes sir or is that not an answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is.. explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When the gas is heated its atoms or molecules get heated up and thus start moving in higher speed and their K.E. increases since K.E. is directly proportional to velocity.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Higher speed would mean higher energy, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would more molecules have a higher energy level?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you for the explanation and everything.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur welcome
