Use laplace transform to find the answer to the initial value problem y''-2y'+5y=0, y(0)=2 y'(0)=4. PLEASE HELP!!!

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

:D We just did this

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

ok so, first step, laplace trans of both sides, can you write that out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i figured it out, i got to the point where i had Y(s)=\[ \frac{ 2s }{ s^2-2s+5 }\] and i realized i had to change the numerator to 2(s-1)+2 and inverse laplace transform from there. Thanks though!

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

ah ok np!
