plug it into your graphing calculator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should plug all the y= into the calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this isnt graphing though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah but like on your graphing calculator if you plug it into your y= and then hit, 2nd graph, the table values pop up and you look for 50 and see if it matches.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont have a graphing calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay, then if you had one thats how you would solve it... but if not then plug in the x values for x in the equation and just follow through

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to do that??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

......................

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so take your first equation/: 0.012x+49.985 And for every x you see plug in 50. what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see 1 x :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@claritamontano you still there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah im sorry i went to eat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im so sorry:( wait how did you get 1? the equation will look like this. 0.012(50)+49.985=y 50.585=y so this equation wouldnt work because we need y to equal 1.25.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you still there????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay..... Glad I can help lol!!! and btw if you havent gusssed the answer is c.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nooo darn I guessed because I wanted to get done D:...... I chose A :P
