Hi @DivineSolar do you think you could help me?

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

One second im gonna walk you through this.

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Ok whats the first step?

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

To solving the inequality

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i was doing something else :D is the first step to use inverse operations?

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

No. The first step is to simplify both sides of the inequality. Once you do so what do you get?

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

@kkay_light You there? Just solving it? XD

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

ok so \[5 \le \frac{ ? }{ ? }x \]

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

What is the fraction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah srry again ummm so we simplify both sides of the inequality then i don't know i'm clueless :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[5\le \frac{ x }{ 2 }\]

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

What do you think the fraction is, originally it was x/-2, to make it easier here is an image. \[\frac{ x }{ -2 }\]

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Thats incorrect. The fraction would be. \[5 \le \frac{ -1 }{ 2 }\]x

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

5 less than or equal to -1/2x

DivineSolar (divinesolar):

Then you flip the equation giving you?

DivineSolar (divinesolar):
