You conduct an experiment where you roll a die and record the results. You roll the die 1230 times and the results are shown in the table below: What is the experimental probability of rolling a "4" on your next roll? A. 16.34% B. 16.67% C. 18.45% D. 20.1%

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Where is the table showing the results of the experiment?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kropot72 Frequency 1 245 2 172 3 219 4 201 5 137 6 256

OpenStudy (kropot72):

How many times was a "4" rolled in the experiment? The experimental probability of rolling a "4" is found as follows: \[\large \frac{number\ of\ 4s\ rolled}{1230} \times100 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kropot72 I dont understand? So which one would be the answer? I'm confused could you explain?

OpenStudy (kropot72):

How many times was a "4" rolled in the experiment? Look at the table. The frequency of 4 is the number of times a 4 was rolled. Just plug this number of times into the calculation.
