What causes Friar Lawrence’s important message to Romeo to go astray?
This is from Rome and Juliet. As far as the story goes, The Friar writes a letter to Romeo ad gives it to his friend. His friend must deliver it to Romeo, but when the friend arrives in mantua, Romeo was not there. So the friend left without delivering the letter. This is what possibly could cause Friar Lawrence to go astray.
thanks @ElleCullen
Your welcome :) I have read the story several times and then wrote a passing essay in school when Iwas in grade 5. Elle, High School Senior
At first, Romeo doesn’t want to fight Tybalt because Romeo — a. is a coward b. is now related to Tybalt by marriage c. thinks that Mercutio has a better chance of beating Tybalt d. is on his way to marry Juliet
can you help with some more like this @ElleCullen
Yeah, I can. :) Romeo did not want to fight Tybalt because he was obeying the rule Prince Escaulus made. "Anyone caught fighting will be putto death," is what the prince told the people of Verona. Simply He refused. The answer to your question is between a and c. B. and D. do not fit to the question.
@ElleCullen thanks :)
