would water or carbon dioxide have a higher boiling point?

OpenStudy (danjs):

The one with stronger intermolecular forces would hold together stronger and therefore have a higher boiling point. Water is a polar molecule while carbon dioxide is not. Water will have stronger dipole forces/hydrogen bond; while carbon dioxide will have weaker Dispersion forces or a temporary induced dipole moment with a weak attraction.

OpenStudy (radar):

Hint: carbon dioxide when solid is known as "dry ice"
