Hints: 1. Factorize the numerator to (x-1)(x+5). 2. recognize that the denominator is zero when x=5, which means that the value must be excluded from the domain. 3. parts 3 and 4 will need a calculator and pencils once parts 1 and 2 are solved.
I know how to get an answer, I just don't have the steps to get there. so if I tell you the answers, could you show me the steps?

1. \(\large\tt \begin{align} \color{black}{c(x)=\dfrac{x^2+4x-5}{x+5}\\~\\ c(x)=\dfrac{(x+5)(x-1)}{x+5}\\~\\ }\end{align}\) we can't cancel \( (x+5) \)if \(x=-5\) so domain=\(\large\tt \begin{align} \color{black}{\{x:x\in \mathbb{R}:x\neq -5\}}\end{align}\)
