Can someone tell me what is the right answer and why? :) In the reversible reaction: H2 (g) + I2 (g) <---> 2HI (g), an initial mixture contains 2 mol H2 and 1mol I2. The amount of HI expected at equilibrium is: (a) 1 mol; (b) 2 mol; (c) less than 2 mol; (d) more than 2 mol but less than 4 mol.

OpenStudy (surry99):

this is straight stoichiometry based on the limiting reagent. Is H2 or I2 the LR?
