y=5x+7 and 3y-15x=18 is what infinely many no solution one or two solutions i think two idk
what do you think?
if you take a look at it, and type your equations in, you can see if they have a solution or not. Its so much easier than having to graph them yourself, and I still understand what my teachers are trying to get at after using it.
i am
Here is what the two equations look like graphed. WHat do you think the answer is?
there are two points on hte same line but two different lines
Well, since the lines do not intersect (meet) anywhere, then there can be no solution to these equations.
ok next question
ok, but you understand how we got that, right?
yes
ok, great. Do you have any more questions you need help with?
3x=-12y+15 X+4y=5 there is onlyone line so does that means infinely or one
i think infinely since there are no points that means all of the poinys equal that solution
when you use that calculator, and there is one line, that means that the equations are technically the same line. So they have many solutions.
yes, you're right/
Great job!
anymore questions/
oops **?
did you need anymore help @kaylak12345
if there are two points on a line does that mean two solutions?
@k_lynn if there is one point on the same does that mean one solution
what do you mean? can you post a picture? If its like this, there is one solution |dw:1418689226844:dw|
