@mathstudent55 Could you please help me figure out this problem? @amistre64

@mathstudent55

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will help

OpenStudy (amistre64):

well, we should be able to determine that OP = OR and that the line OQ is common to both triangles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know it's between option A and D because the triangles are congruent not similar.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yep, and we know in order an angle side side; one of which is a 90. does this make you want to lean towards one more than the other?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SAS Congruence Theorem

OpenStudy (amistre64):

A is speaking of a side angle side, thats not the order we have. we do have a right angle, a leg, and a hypotenuse tho

OpenStudy (amistre64):

now, i dont know that names of any of these new fangled thrms so as long as your material defines a leg hypot thrm then thats the one id go with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh! It's the Hypotenuse- leg congruence theorem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, thank you!! :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

youre welcome :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mind if I tag you in another question?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i dont get notifs that well ... i think its a site issue. but i dont mind

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, I've heard that from other people too. Great! :)
