Which of the following is necessary for collisions to be successful?
Still need help?
Does this mean, as in a chemical reaction, since this is the chemistry section?
Minimum energy/Kinetic Energy , Activation energy to cause the reaction to occur. Think of it like a ball needing to have enough energy to climb a mountain and snap into place. Without the correct energy, the ball won't make it, and the collision will not be successful. |dw:1419479634516:dw|
A second thing has to do with the molecules orientation in space.
