What is the range of this set of ordered pairs? {(5, 2), (-5, 0), (6, 2), (2, 7)}

Nnesha (nnesha):

range all y values

OpenStudy (academicgurusinc):

The orderd pairs are nothing but a set of x and y values; The domain is given by : x values The range is given by : y values so: the range is given as Range{2,0,7}...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[Range: {0, 2, 7}\]\[0 \le y \le 7\]

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

The range would be the set of all y values, and we don't list elements twice.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

so \(\{0,2,7\}\)

OpenStudy (academicgurusinc):

We hope this helps. Regards, Academic GurusInc. Twitter (@Academic_Gurus) Facebook (AcademicGurusInc) Youtube (Academic Gurus Inc)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ok ok so just the y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Listing all the values is presenting the range in a set. Range can also be presented as an equation/inequality or expression. But yes, all the Y values is the range.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

yes, don't write range{0,2,7} the range is {0,2,7} and the set brackets are crucial

Nnesha (nnesha):

|dw:1419976860337:dw|all y values is range if there y values repeat then you just have to write one time and domain all x values i guess next question should be about domain so all x values is domain
