OpenStudy (snowxangel):

Hi I need help with algebra

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you need help with?

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

Ok I need help with this question: Kelly tells you that when variables are in the denominator, the equation becomes unsolvable. "There is a value for x that makes the denominator zero, and you can't divide by zero," Kelly explains. Using complete sentences, demonstrate to Kelly how the equation is still solvable

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

I've already looked at other answers from OS but they don't make sense to me

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

I just need a short simple explanation

OpenStudy (utterly_confuzzled):

Isn't it just that there are other numbers besides that one that don't equal zero when replacing x?

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

Yeah that's what I was thinking

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

Like don't plug in a number that will get you zero

OpenStudy (snowxangel):

I have no idea

OpenStudy (utterly_confuzzled):

I would just put something along those lines. If you wanted to go above and beyond you could even do a simple example as part of it (1/x) just don't use zero. That sort of thing
