Bro's... @kakashi-sensei @oscar55773 can you please elaborate about the institutes that you are talking about... if the institutes do accept applications for PhD from graduates, then what type of profiles they do welcome....
PhD in which field...? and which country you want...?
in chemical engineering, any country will do...
have a look here... @harishk :) http://www.theguardian.com/higher-education-network/2011/sep/05/top-100-universities-world-chemical-engineering-2011 http://www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings/university-subject-rankings/2014/engineering-chemical#sorting=rank+region=+country=+faculty=+stars=false+search= http://www.accesseducationindia.com/top-chemical-engineering-courses-usa.html http://www.rice.edu/
@paki been through brother... but my question is whether what colleges among the list do accept application for PhD from a graduate.... and if so, what profile they require.....
you have BS degree now or MS...?
i am a chemical engineer with two years of industrial exposure...
ok, it mean you have a 4 year Bachelors degree rite... and now you want MS in chemical engineering.... ? am i rite... ?
OMG... no ... i need to join in a fellow ship in a PhD program... and yes, i don't have a Masters.. but trust me it is possible to do PhD without Masters... just we have to find the right university with a right profile to impress... any ideas...
no.... for PhD it is must that you have a MS degree rite... now there are two types of MS degrees.... simple MS degree... and MS LEADING TO A PHD degree... for simple MS, you will have to study for 1 to 3 years for getting that degree... and for other one minimum of 5 years and maximum range of 8 years will be required for that degree...
so, the other one will include both PhD and MS.... ???? like Integrated....
yeah... first you will study MS then a GRE type test and then PhD....
interesting, University of California is the cheapest rank 1 university for chemical engineering
what is the duration.... is it 5 years for both or... 2+5 ???
yeh list check kar lo.... aur sab details ghour se parh laina.... http://www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings/university-subject-rankings/2014/engineering-chemical#sorting=rank+region=+country=+faculty=+stars=false+search= @perl ... please have a look here... http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/news/9-uc-campuses-ranked-among-world%E2%80%99s-best-universities

@harishk it depends on your work.... and other requirements are... The Chemical Engineering Program offers graduate instruction leading to the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering. The nanotechnology concentration signifies that four elective courses are chosen from the approved courses in this area. Admission is in accordance with the general requirements of the graduate division, which requires at least a B.S. in some branch of engineering, sciences, or mathematics; an overall GPA of 3.0, and three letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to the academic or professional competence and to the depth of their interest in pursuing graduate study. In addition, all applicants are required to submit GRE General Test Scores. A minimum score of 550 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required of all international applicants whose native language is not English. Students who score below 600 on the TOEFL are strongly encouraged to enroll in an English as a second language program before beginning graduate work. UC San Diego Extension offers an excellent English language program during the summers as well as the academic year. Applicants are judged competitively. Based on the candidate’s background, qualifications, and goals, admission to the program is in one of three categories: M.S. only, M.S., or Ph.D. Admission to the M.S. only category is reserved for students for whom the M.S. degree is likely to be the terminal graduate degree. The M.S. designation is reserved for students currently interested in obtaining an M.S. degree but who at a later time may wish to continue in the doctoral degree program. Admission to the Ph.D. Program is reserved for qualified students whose final aim is a doctoral degree.
