In music theory, a musical chord is named according to its roots, or its first root. By knowing the root of a chord, a musician can find the rest of the notes in a chord. How are the roots of chords similar to roots of polynomial functions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Probably because by knowing the "root" number you can figure out the rest

Hello @estherlouise and Welcome to OpenStudy! :) well in the given information is says "By knowing the root of the chord, a musician can fin the rest of the notes in a chord." using this, we can probably guess that it is the same for polynomials? something like if you know the roots of a polynomial, you can probably figure out the rest of the polynomial :)

Thank you! :) @sleepyhead314 & @Lucinda12345
