Helper will get a medal! Give the slope of a line perpendicular to (-2, 0), (1, -4) I got 3/4 but I don't know for sure...

OpenStudy (ajspeller):

Find the slope given the equation posted by jim_thompson. Then convert that slope to its negative reciprocal which makes it perpendicular. Say you found the slope to be 4/5. The perpendicular slope has to be -5/4.

OpenStudy (danjs):

you are right, what are you unsure about

OpenStudy (arbyj):

@jim_thompson5910 yes

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yeah I deleted my post when I realized you had the correct answer all along lol

OpenStudy (arbyj):

@DanJS i was just unsure about the answer

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the original slope is -4/3 flip the sign and the fraction to get 3/4

OpenStudy (danjs):

i mean the process to get the answer,
