When you are given a contingency table, focus on the the given. Here given it is a paperback, there are only two cases, .48 for fiction, and .22 for non fiction. so what is P(fiction)?

OpenStudy (igreen):

^^^^ And the total Paperback is 0.70

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 70%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all in the beginning would be 48% and 22% and given the information by @iGreen to 70%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

adding both of them gives you 70 but in a decimal .70 but towards the right 2 times it would be 70%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

68.6% would be my answer
