PLEASE HELP ME Just before Penny is bitten by the rattlesnake, the author describes the weather conditions. Why might this description be understood as an example of the author using the technique of foreshadowing? How does Rawlings employ descriptions of the weather throughout the rest of this section of the novel? The south was filled with darkness, like the smoke of gunpowder.
