which part is inside the square root ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
-x+2
OpenStudy (phi):
I would "move" the 4 to the other side so only the square root stuff is on the left
i.e. add -4 to both sides.
OpenStudy (phi):
then square both sides. this gets rid of the square root, but makes the right side more complicated
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ummm so would I end up with no solution
