What exactly does [0,2pi) mean? Interval

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it means u only have to look for ur solution in that domain only

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u know abt trignometric graphs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, I dont know what the domain is though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like the difference between [0,2pi] and [0,2pi)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

domain is the values of x and range is values of y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know what domain and range is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the diffrence between them is that when this type of bracket is used ] then u should include that value also written at last.like if in ur case 2pi so u will include 2pi also while giving the solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright so if I was solving for sin = 0 at an interval of [0,2pi) then I would have 0, pi and 2pi?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in case of {0,2pi) o is included bt 2pi will not be included

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My actual problem was sin^2 + sin = 0 at [0,2pi) and I got 0, pi , and 3pi/2
