Is the group of words a simple sentence, a compound sentence, or a run-on sentence? Eagles soar through the sky and nest in high trees. A. simple sentence B. run-on sentence C. compound sentence

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is a run-on sentence. Why? "I hear thunder" and "I hear rain" are two complete simple sentences as they contain both a subject and verb. There should be a period in between the to sentences or at least a semi colon. As you already know, completes sentences should have periods. @School_Help Makes more sense?
