OpenStudy (awkwardpanda):

A sample of table sugar (sucrose, C12H22011) has a mass of 1.604g? A) calculate the number of moles of C12H22O11 contained in the sample. - i put 1.604g sucrose * 1 mole sucrose/342 sucrose=0.0046 moles. is that right? if not show me please b) calculate the number of moles of each element in C12H22O11. c) calculate the number of atoms of each element in C12H22011

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Yep, that looks great, except that I would use a few more digits in the molar mass.
