OpenStudy (somy):

do you know about bonds?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope.

OpenStudy (somy):

hmmm okay you have school book?

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

Metal and nonmetal bonding

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont somy.

OpenStudy (somy):

http://www.chem4kids.com/files/atom_bonds.html read it through its simple & i think enough for you to know

OpenStudy (somy):

how come you are doing these questions yet not knowing anything about the topic? is it a test?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because they gave this randomly to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k done reading, and i dont get it.

OpenStudy (somy):

o.o hmmm well for taking this test you have to study it first

OpenStudy (somy):

okay what is it that you dont get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

everything....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But since kawii said that, im going with the fact that its a double bond.

OpenStudy (somy):

@oOKawaiiOo is right but you got it wrong T_T

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aight then convalent bond, its either this or ionic cause it cant be single.

OpenStudy (somy):

okay i will help you to study this topic i hope its not timed test or anything?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no its already overdue...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But was i right? i need to get this quesiton over with to end it.

OpenStudy (somy):

okay good that its not timed test are you willing to study it? the q says that atom is positively charged okay if you take a look at them - you will see that those elements do not have 8 electrons in their outer shell in their NEUTRAL state but now they are charged - positively positively charged means that they have LOST electrons from their outer shell so the only type of bond it can form is where they can take extra electrons from other atom they are bonding to! in which bonding does give and take rule occurs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and tbh im not willing to study it, cause after i do the test for it they will never make me do it again.

OpenStudy (somy):

well i can't help if you are not going to put effort + i know at your age, kids don't tend to care much but these stuff you dont want to learn now will cause you problem later on in higher school grades coz there, without this foundations of chemistry - you will not get anything

OpenStudy (somy):

its ionic bond

OpenStudy (somy):

good luck with studies lil bro/sis whichever that is :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Little bro.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

xD

OpenStudy (somy):

okay little bro :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D
