Macedonia or Macedon was a Greek Kingdom in Ancient Greece. It was centered in the northeastern part of the Greek peninsula, it was bordered by Epirus in the west, Paeonia in the north, and the regions of Thrace to the east as well as Thessaly to the south. Alexander gained control over Greece by pretty much conquering it. More or less.
