3 Ba+Al(SO4)3=2Al+3BaSO4 if you have 2 moles of BA and 1/2 mole of Al2(SO4)3 what is the access reactant. I just need the formula really quick

@aaronq could I possibly get this formula real quick?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

when you wanna find the limiting reactant, you simply divide the moles of each reactant by their respective stoichiometric coefficient. I like to call the "normalized" moles - statistically speaking. so the formula would be: \(\sf Normalized~moles=\dfrac{moles~A}{A's~coefficient}\) then you compare the two, which ever has less moles after the division is the limiting reactant.

OKay. Thanks!

OpenStudy (aaronq):

no problem
