For English we read the play Inherit the Wind and in it is a verse from the the Bible from Proverbs. Our test is coming up, and my teacher said that if we can't interpret it, then most of the questions relating to it will be wrong too. He said to try and break it down like a poem. Each phrase is in brackets, and I'll put the words he said we have to be able to interpret and are important in ' '. ['He' that 'troubleth' 'his own house',] ['shall' 'inherit' the 'wind';] [and the 'fool' shall be 'servant'] [to the 'wise at heart'.] Troubleth and shall we just have to know what they mean.

I'm thinking that He is the person or in this play, Rev. Brown that causes trouble and troubleth is the friction caused by 'He'. Own House is 'His' home and shall means can. Inherit means gain. I think the wind is the trouble that was caused coming back at the one who caused it. The Fool is 'He' or Rev. Brown. Servant: susceptible or at mercy to Wise at Heart: someone who doesn't cause trouble, is kind, and forgives
